Crowdsurfing - Crowdsurfing, the social engagement platform built on LiveOne. Technologies used are NodeJS using web sockets, JavaScript, SCSS, and HTML.

Sears - ECommerce product detail platform for Sears.com, built using NodeJS, Backbone, CoffeeScript, HAML/SCSS on a MongoDB data-store.

MySears Community - A customer service tool where customers can research new products, or seek advice. Built on top of wordpress with PHP, MySQL, Mongo, JS/jQuery, and HTML/CSS.

Groupon Central - Developed and Designed site from scratch using PHP, JavaScript (jQuery), and other web technologies, including REST.

Chicago Tribune - Supported and developed additional functionality using J2EE, JavaScript, and other web technologies.

Who am I?

As you can see above, my name is Jason and I am a Web Software Engineer based out of the Chicagoland Area. I have been working with websites since I was in grade school, and started working in the field professionally while I was in college - for Ligo Products. This was my first legitimate engineering position, dealing with the PHP and jQuery, along with the creation of their print catalogue.

Since Ligo, I've held engineering positions with Tribune Technology (J2EE/JSP and jQuery), Sears Holdings (PHP, Java/CQ5, some Rails, and jQuery), and Groupon (PHP and jQuery); and the projects I've worked on have reached hundreds of millions of customers, spanning across several continents.
